If you accepted Visa and Mastercard payments between the years of 2014 – 2019 you are eligible to enter this class action lawsuit. The U.S. District Court has approved a proposed settlement of at least 5.54 billion. The date to enter the class action lawsuit has been extended to February 4, 2025.
To enter the class action lawsuit all you need to do is:
- Go to https://paymentcardsettlement.com/en
- Click on Submit Claim.
- If you have received a letter that has a Claimant ID and Control Number you can enter that information. If you have not, you will click on Provide TIN.
- Enter your Federal EIN and your business name.
- They will ask you for proof that you can enter the lawsuit on behalf of the company. You can upload a legal document that has you listed as an owner/shareholder/partner.
- Enter all contact information and create a password.
- Click on create account.
They will search for merchant accounts associated with that EIN. If they find one you will receive an email that it has been added to your account and you can log back into the system and click on it to submit the claim. They will review the information provided and may reach out for additional information.
